Alejandro Lastra

Alejandro Lastra is an experienced legal and compliance professional currently serving as Vice President of Legal & Compliance for Passport since February 2022. Previously, Alejandro held significant roles including Head of Government & Institutional Affairs at Conekta and Co-Founder at Predify, where Alejandro also served as Head of Legal & Compliance. Alejandro's extensive experience includes legal direction at Grupo Salinas, serving as Chief of Staff to the Executive Secretary at the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, and providing legal advisory to the Governor of EDOMEX. With a strong background in negotiating contracts and building strategic relations across various government sectors, Alejandro has also contributed to significant projects related to migration programs and regulatory compliance within the fintech and e-commerce sectors. Alejandro holds a Master's degree in Policy from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
