Marcus DeFazio

Marcus DeFazio has held a variety of software engineering roles since 2011. Marcus began their career at Boeing as a Software Engineer, followed by a Software Developer position at Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. in 2012. At Sotera, Marcus led a team of three engineers to develop a web app and client to remotely benchmark cloud applications in a clustered environment. In 2013, they moved to RadiantBlue Technologies as a Software Engineer. From 2017-2022, Marcus worked at IronNet Cybersecurity as a Senior Integrations/Software Engineer, where they researched, designed, and built integration solutions to extend functionality of various cybersecurity platforms to IronNet products via REST APIs, gRPC streams, and platform native applications. Marcus is currently employed at Picnic Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer.

Marcus DeFazio obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2011. Marcus then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Technology Management from George Mason University in 2015.
