Alex Korotkikh

Alex Korotkikh has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Alex worked at Akvelon as a Software Engineer from July 2010 to February 2012, where they were involved in the development of a web application for monitoring cargo in ports. Alex then joined X1 Group in February 2012 as a Software Engineer, contributing to the design and implementation of critical system components and leading the migration from Java to Scala. Alex also played a role in the hiring process and helped grow the team from 2 to 20 developers. From June 2014 to March 2017, Alex worked at Kreditech Holding SSL GmbH, where they served as the Vice President of Engineering. Alex led launches of new products and markets, managed integrations with external partners, and designed the structure for the engineering department. In addition, they were responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the core backend system. Alex then joined finleap connect in June 2017 as a Software Engineer, where they led the design and implementation of an internal system for unified access to financial data providers and prototyped a new B2B product for banks. Alex also participated in the development of secure API access to banking data. Alex worked as a Software Engineer at Zalando SE from November 2018 to July 2020, before moving on to their current role as the CTO at Pliant since April 2020.

From 2008 to 2013, Alex Korotkikh attended Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, where they obtained a Master's degree in Systems Engineering.
