Gillian Lane

Gillian Lane has a diverse work experience in the field of talent acquisition. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Kelly Services, managing accounts for large organizations and recruiting staff in various sectors. From 2011 to 2012, they served as an Office Support Selection Specialist at HRM Recruitment Group. Gillian then worked as a Recruitment Specialist at Arvato Finance Services Ltd from 2012 to 2013. Following that, they took on the role of a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract) at Wonga.com from 2013 to 2014. Gillian then worked as a Technical Staffing Consultant (Contract) at Fidelity Investments from 2014 to 2016. Gillian joined Cognizant in 2016 and served as a Senior Manager, Recruitment until 2020. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Technical Talent Acquisition Manager at Toast, Inc. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Delivery Hero. Currently, Gillian is the Head of Talent Acquisition at Pliant, a fintech company founded in 2020.

Gillian Lane completed their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and Master of Sociology degrees at University College Dublin from 1998 to 2002. In 2009, they attended Dublin Business School for a Diploma in Employment Law. Additionally, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued a CIPD certification at the National College of Ireland in the field of HR.
