Gowthami Karnati has worked in the IT industry since 2014. Gowthami began their career as an ETL Python and Software Developer Intern at Wns Global Services Limited. In 2016, they moved to Auperwel Wax Technology Co., Ltd. as a Software Developer and Big Data Developer. In 2019, they joined Mastercard as a MC DXP Application. In 2021, they were a Data Analyst, Power BI, and Python Developer at First Bank. Currently, they are a Hadoop Developer at Quotient, where they are developing optimized Spark applications to perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and summarization activities.

Gowthami Karnati obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad between 2010 and 2014. In February 2023, they obtained a Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. In January 2023, they obtained a Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft.
