Páll Jónsson is a Programme Director for Data and Real World Evidence at NICE, where responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives related to data and real world evidence since June 2017. Páll also served as Associate Director of Science Policy and Research at NICE, overseeing the Science Policy and Research programme and managing multi-national projects focused on evidence generation for healthcare decision-making. Additionally, Páll is currently a Guest Editor for a special collection on digital technologies at BMC Digital Health and an Executive Board Member at GetReal Institute. Páll is also a member of the RWD Steering Committee at ISPOR. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry from UCL, an MRes in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from the University of Leeds, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Háskóli Íslands.

Our shared mission facilitates the adoption and implementation of real world evidence in healthcare decision-making in Europe. We are also an incubator and design lab to develop strategies, new methodologies, easy-to-use, innovative tools and educational guidance. All to increase and share critical knowledge about new treatments.
