Tomasz Świacko-Świackiewicz

Tomasz Swiacko-Swiackiewicz is the current Chief Technology Officer at GetResponse. Tomasz has held this position since January of 2020, but they have been with the company since June of 2013. Prior to their current role, they were a Software Architect and Tech Lead.

Tomasz is responsible for the architecture and quality of the solutions implemented, both in a broader context (different products / projects, at the organizational level), and at the level of specific products / projects. Tomasz is also actively involved in shaping the software production processes in the organization, including preparing and implementing standards for software quality, promoting the culture of Code Review, or the principles of cooperation between teams. Tomasz also makes sure to exchange knowledge within the organization through Brown Bag sessions or DDD-themed meetings.

Before Tomasz joined GetResponse, they worked for Grupa Wirtualna Polska from May 2006 to June 2013 as a Senior Programmer. During their time there, they maintained and developed the szukaj.wp.pl search engine and the katalog.wp.pl web directory. Tomasz also maintained and developed advertising programs / context-based advertising (boksy.wp.pl, adkontekst.pl), cooperated and integrated with partner advertising programs. Tomasz also analyzed and optimized websites for SEO / Usability and took part in building the portal's SEO policy.

Tomasz Świacko-Świackiewicz reports to Simon Grabowski, CEO. They are on a team with Daniel Brzezinski - COO, Marta Zabłocka-Peterson - CFO, and Maciej Ossowski - Director, GetResponse Enterprise.
