Arie Danon

Arie Danon has extensive work experience in the field of information security and cyber security. Arie is currently the Director of the Information Security Department at Com Division in Getter Group Ltd. In this role, they are responsible for working with existing cyber security vendors, locating new potential vendors, and introducing new vendors to the Israeli market.

Prior to this, Arie was the Director of the Cyber Security Department at ABnet Communications LTD. There, they worked with existing and potential cyber security vendors, built channel and sales structures for cyber security solutions, and directly engaged with large enterprise accounts to generate demand for the solutions distributed by ABnet.

Before joining ABnet, Arie worked at Kaspersky as a Sales, Marketing & Channel Manager. Arie played a key role in improving Kaspersky's market position and preventing IT security threats.

Furthermore, Arie served as the General Manager of ADACOM IT Security Solutions Israel at Adacom S.A., where they designed and implemented various IT security solutions. Arie also held the position of VP of Sales and Channel Development at CellPhone Group.

Earlier in their career, Arie was the CEO of Trustware, a company that develops security software based on its BufferZone Application Virtualization Technology. Arie also served as the Regional Director for the Southern Mediterranean region of Symantec, leading a team of 40 sales, presales, and marketing professionals.

Arie's expertise in the field of cyber security dates back to their role as the Presales and Post Sales Department Manager at PF1 Systems Ltd. Arie also gained experience managing communication networks and serving as a product manager at Israel Aircraft Industries – Maman Data Systems Center. In addition, Arie worked as a System Analyst and Programmer in the Human Resources Division of Israel Aircraft Industries.

Arie Danon pursued their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Statistics from Tel Aviv University between the years 1981 and 1984. Later on, they furthered their studies at the same university and completed a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Information Systems from 1989 to 1992.
