Phil Wheeler

Phil Wheeler is an accomplished Engineering Manager with extensive experience in software development and education. Currently, Phil holds engineering management roles at SalonBiz and Timely since July 2022 and July 2024, respectively. Phil's previous experience includes over two decades in education as a Music Teacher with the Ministry of Education of New Zealand and roles at ADInstruments and Intergen, focusing on team culture and support leadership. Phil also served as Lead Web Developer at ANZ, responsible for modernizing the bank’s web framework. Phil's educational background is from Otago Polytechnic | Te Pūkenga, where studies were completed between 1999 and 2001.
