Emin Askerov

Emin Askerov has over 10 years of experience in business and sustainability. Emin began their career in 2010 as the Founder and CEO of Akari, a consulting firm. In 2013, they were appointed Business Development Director at OTEK, where they increased revenues by US$15M and negotiated CHP divestitures. From 2017 to 2018, they were the CEO of Red WInd B.V., where they signed a wind turbine sales agreement for 380 wind turbines worth US$900M and was nominated for the 2018 Rusprix Award. From 2018 to 2021, they held roles at VetroSGC, as Business Development Director, at EnerTech International Inc., as Chairman of the Board, and at Askerov & Boze Consulting, as Co-Founder. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CEO of AKARI EXIM and the Chief Sustainability Officer at GetTransfer.com.

Emin Askerov attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance. Emin also obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree from the Higher School of Economics from 1998 to 2001.
