Brett Wellman Messenger

Brett Wellman Messenger currently serves as the Executive Director of the Majestic Theater at Gettysburg College since May 2024. Prior to this role, Brett was the Curatorial Director of Live Arts at Morris Museum from September 2018 to May 2024. Additional experience includes serving as Program Administrator for Peak Performances at Montclair State University, Artist Services Manager at The Santa Fe Opera, and Performance Photographer at MoMAPS1 Art Center. Earlier roles include Special Events Assistant at The Santa Fe Opera and Sirius XM Radio Broadcast Assistant at the Metropolitan Opera. Brett holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and has completed graduate studies in Contemporary Art History & Theory and New Genres at San Francisco Art Institute.
