Jana G

Jana G has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Data Science and ML at Upside, a digital marketplace connecting consumers with brick and mortar retailers. Prior to this, they held various roles at PayPal, including Director of Data Science for the PayPal Digital Wallet and Consumer Products. Jana also held senior managerial positions in Data Science for different divisions within PayPal, including Large Enterprise Merchant, PayPal In-Store Products, and PayPal Working Capital Underwriting. Additionally, Jana has experience as a Data Science Manager and Data Scientist for PayPal Working Capital and PayPal Funding Mix. Before transitioning to the corporate world, they worked as a Research Intern at TU Dresden and as an Intern at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited.

Jana G holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Additionally, Jana has completed the CFA Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute.
