Yoni A.

Yoni A. has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Yoni started their career as a Programmer in the Israel Defense Forces' Military Intelligence from February 2004 to March 2010. Yoni then joined mySupermarket in October 2010 as a Web Developer, where they were part of the core development team and led projects for top giants in the field.

In February 2013, Yoni A. joined Fiverr (Fiverr.com) as a Dev Lead. During their time there, they oversaw the rapid execution of a development team in multiple cities and played a crucial role in creating the culture and technical decision-making for the fast-growing product. Yoni had extensive knowledge in various technologies such as Ruby, Rails, JS, and databases like MySQL, Mongo, Postgres, and Redis. Additionally, Yoni A. emphasized harvesting data from big data platforms like Google BigQuery and implementing Solr into the site.

In July 2017, Yoni A. joined Freshly as a Lead Web Developer and later became a Principal Engineer in July 2020. Yoni contributed to the company's success by leading web development projects and providing massive scale solutions to support the expanding user base.

Most recently, Yoni A. joined Vim as a Principal Engineer in March 2023.

Yoni A. holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, which was completed in 2013. Before this, Yoni earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Basmach (Mamram) in 2004. Yoni also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, completed in 2002.
