Sr. Director, Corporate Strategy at Weave

Austin Strong has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Austin is currently working as the Director of Corporate Strategy at Weave since June 2021. Prior to this role, Austin worked at Deloitte Consulting from 2018 to 2021, starting as a Senior Consultant in the Strategy & Operations (S&O) department and then being promoted to Manager in the same department. At Deloitte, their responsibilities included leading operations strategy assessments for tech startups, overseeing a global product lifecycle management transformation for a Fortune 500 client, managing digital thread transformation assessments for aerospace and defense clients, and developing and implementing an analytics training program for the firm.

Before joining Deloitte, Austin held the position of Managing Director at Cougar Strategy Group from 2017 to 2018, where they were responsible for strategic consulting and business development. Austin also worked as a Summer Associate at Deloitte Consulting in 2017, gaining experience in strategy and operations.

In 2015, Austin co-founded Venture Factory, a student-run product development accelerator and entrepreneurship center at Brigham Young University. Austin successfully raised funding, consulted with numerous student startups, allocated seed funding, conducted market research, and launched the organization's online presence.

Austin's earlier experience includes working as a Manufacturing Engineer at Merit Medical Systems from 2013 to 2015 and as a Lead Engineer at Soldana from 2012 to 2013. Austin also served as an Instructor at the Missionary Training Center from 2010 to 2012 and interned as a Manufacturing Engineer at Boeing in 2012.
