Brandon Atkinson

Brandon Atkinson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Brandon is currently working as a Software Engineer in Operational Infrastructure & Internal Tools at Weave HQ since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University from October 2019 to April 2021, where they were involved in teaching machine learning and conducting research in the Perception, Control, and Cognition Lab.

Before joining Brigham Young University, Brandon worked as a Software Developer at ApplicantPro from August 2018 to September 2019. In this role, they worked as a full-stack developer and contributed to projects like HRFuse, which integrated various HR technologies into the ApplicantPro software solution.

Earlier in their career, Brandon worked as a Software Developer at Refer.IO from June 2017 to August 2018, where they were responsible for developing production software and leading a team in driving company revenue and growth.

Before that, they had internships at Blue Coat Systems, where they worked as a Software Development Intern from September 2015 to December 2017 and as a Data Analyst Intern from October 2013 to September 2015.

Brandon also had an internship as an Operations Analyst at Goldman Sachs from January 2017 to May 2017.

Brandon Atkinson completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Utah in 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, which they successfully completed in 2021. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in January 2018.
