Curtis Thacker

Curtis Thacker has over 18 years of work experience in various engineering and software roles. Curtis is currently working at Weave as a Senior Engineering Manager since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Brigham Young University for 13 years, starting as a Senior Software Engineer in October 2007, and eventually becoming the Principal Engineer. Curtis also served as a Software Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering during their time at Brigham Young University. Before that, Curtis worked as a Software Engineer & Tech Lead at AMX International from August 2005 to September 2007. Curtis started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Lockheed Martin from June 2004 to August 2005. Curtis also worked at Brigham Young University - Idaho as a Technical Director / Lead Developer and Web Applications Developer from August 2003 to April 2005, where they created and maintained web-based applications using ASP, VB .NET, and SQL Server. Overall, Curtis has demonstrated their skills and expertise in software engineering and management throughout their career.

Curtis Thacker completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in the year 2016. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2001 to 2005, majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
