Pete Kruckenberg has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Before joining Imprivata, Pete served as the Director of Backend Software Engineering at Ambra Health, where they developed a large-scale multi-tier medical image storage system. Pete also worked on different parts of the stack at Ambra Health, including UI, on-prem appliance, desktop app, and workflow support. Pete had a long tenure at the Utah Education Network as a Senior IT Software Architect, primarily designing and implementing tools for data collection, analysis, and visualization. Pete also played a key role in designing and implementing an educational testing system. Pete's experience includes serving as a Technical Advisor for the National Science Foundation PAWR Wireless Research Lab Grant at the University of Utah College of Engineering. Pete was part of a team that won a multi-million-dollar grant to develop a city-scale wireless lab. Additionally, Pete has worked as a Business Development Advisor for CableJive LLC, where they advised on marketing, trade shows, product innovation, and more. Pete also had a role as a Technical Leader for Utah Ignite, launching the Utah chapter of US Ignite to promote Smart City initiatives. Pete's earlier experiences include working as a Principal Software Engineer at NetSuite and OpenAir, as well as an IT Manager at Linux Networx. Overall, Pete has significant expertise in software engineering, technical architecture, project management, and business development across various industries.

From 1991 to 1994, Pete Kruckenberg attended the University of Utah, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
