Spencer Dixon

Spencer Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Spencer started their career as a Newspaper Deliverer for the Davis County Clipper from 2005 to 2011. In 2014, they worked as a Web Content Publisher for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they were responsible for publishing web content, managing site layout and design, and performing some SEO tasks.

From 2015 to 2019, Spencer worked as a Contract Web & UX Designer, taking on projects for clients such as Citygro, Artemis Health, CampusMarket, PrimeAV, and realtors. This role allowed him to work on different aspects of the UX and web design cycle, including user testing, design mocks, front-end build work, interaction design, information architecture, and layout design.

In 2015, Spencer also joined ExpertVoice as an Interactive Experience Designer. Here, they designed and developed digital stories (websites) to educate influencers and improve their abilities to recommend client brands. Spencer also contributed to the development of a pattern/template library and presented finished designs to internal and client stakeholders. Spencer continued in this role until October 2020.

Simultaneously, in 2011, Spencer took on the role of Assistant Manager / Design Consultant at Top Hat Video. Spencer supervised a team, managed conflicts, and handled other store operations, including inventory, customer satisfaction, cash turn-ins, and reporting.

Spencer's most recent position was as a Sr. UX/UI Designer at Weave, where they started in October 2020.

Spencer Dixon attended Woods Cross High School from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Utah from 2013 to 2017, pursuing a degree in Multidisciplinary Design.
