Carolina Rodrigues

Carolina Rodrigues has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Carolina started their career as an Administrative Secretary at Estudio Contable de Pablo A. Rondini from March 2005 to July 2007, where they were responsible for tax returns and payments, general administrative tasks, and client relationships.

Carolina then worked as a Financial Accounting Analyst at Latin3 from July 2007 to October 2009, where they managed accounts payables and receivables, prepared checks and transfers, and handled weekly cash flow.

From November 2009 to March 2011, Carolina worked as a Semi Sr. Analyst at SM Resinas Argentina S.A. Carolina'sresponsibilities included accounts payables and receivables, preparation of checks and transfers, and monthly tax returns.

Carolina then joined Accenture in October 2012 and worked as a GL Team Lead Jr. until May 2015. Carolina'srole involved cash and banking month-end close, journal entries approval in SAP, and collaboration with the treasury team.

From June 2015 to April 2019, Carolina worked at Despegar.com as a Regional Accounting Coordinator. Carolina was responsible for various tasks, including Oracle implementation, account reconciliations, closing and reporting activities, accounting migration, audit requests, and leading a team of 7 people.

Carolina's next role was at GetYourGuide, where they held several positions. Carolina started as an Accountant from May 2019 to December 2019, handling month-end close, audit coordination, inventory analysis, cost of sales, and revenue recognition. Carolina then became a Senior International Accountant from January 2020 to March 2020, before being promoted to Team Leader of International Accounting from April 2020 to May 2022. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks, including month-end close for 16 international entities, VAT filing activities, revenue analysis, maintenance of fixed asset register, review of financial statements, and corporate income tax filings.

Carolina's most recent experience is as the Head of Platform Accounting at GetYourGuide, starting in June 2022.

Carolina Rodrigues pursued their education from 2007 to 2012 at UADE, where they earned a degree in Accountancy. In 2011, they also briefly attended The Berlin School of Economics and Law for an exchange semester, focusing on Business studies.
