Francisco Javier Laguna García

Francisco Javier Laguna García began their work experience in 2007 as a Quality Tester intern at Deimos Space. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Moodle Developer at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Starting in 2011, they joined greatcontent.com as a Full Stack Web Developer, where they were responsible for developing platforms and administering systems such as OTRS and MailChimp. In 2013, they began working at GetYourGuide as a Software Engineer and later advanced to the role of Senior Backend Engineer. In these roles, they designed and developed software systems, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and mentored junior engineers. Francisco Javier then transitioned to the position of Associate Engineering Manager in 2019 before becoming an Engineering Manager in 2021. In this role, they oversaw hiring and performance management for the engineering team, managed the team roadmap, and monitored system health.
