Morena Bastiaansen

Morena Bastiaansen has a diverse background in data science and analytics. Morena started their career in 2015 as a Volunteer at De Regenboog Groep. In 2016, they worked as an Onboarding Engineer at Crunchr. From 2017 to 2019, they held multiple roles at Study Association VSAE, including Committee Member for Beroependagen 2016 and Editor for Aenorm. Later in 2019, they joined RTL as an Intern Data Scientist. In 2019, they also worked at LIME Search&Connection as a Student Recruiter for Understudy and as a Data Analyst. In 2020, they became a Junior Data Scientist at Finiata - Smart cash for smart businesses, where they also served as a Data Science Intern. Currently, they are an Associate Data Scientist at GetYourGuide, starting in February 2022.

Morena Bastiaansen completed their education at the Vossius Gymnasium from 2008 to 2014, earning a High School degree. Morena then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics & Operations Research at the University of Amsterdam from 2014 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Morena went on to obtain a Master's degree in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam between 2018 and 2019.
