Abed Tayara

Abed Tayara is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director for the MENA Region at Getz Pharma since August 2022. Previously, Tayara held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Integrated Pharma Solutions from May 2013 to June 2022, where responsibilities included building the Trading division, launching international portfolios in the AME region, and developing local management teams and distribution setups, particularly in Lebanon. Tayara’s earlier career at Sanofi spanned over a decade, with roles such as General Manager for Iraq, responsible for managing P&L and strategic initiatives, and Head of Marketing for the Near East, focusing on business development and market access. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health from the American University of Beirut and a Young Managers Program from INSEAD.
