Edouard Valancogne has a diverse work experience across several companies and sectors. Edouard began their career in 2009 as a Sales Manager for FOOGA Sports, where they focused on selling sports equipment for administration, schools, and cities in the south of France. Edouard then moved on to LES ETAINS DE LYON as a Sales Manager, where they sold luxury pewter countertops to high-end clients such as architects and decorators.

In 2012, Valancogne joined Vision Systems as a Key Account Manager, overseeing sales development for aeronautic customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Russia. Edouard was responsible for selling products such as shades, pleated shades, and electronically dimmable windows. Edouard also handled sales of OEM and spare parts equipment for the railway market in the automotive sector, including innovative products like dimmable windows and blind spot detection solutions.

Most recently, Valancogne joined Getzner as a Railway Sales & Project Manager for Getzner USA in 2020. In this role, they were in charge of providing vibration mitigation and ballast protection solutions for railroad tracks in the USA and Canada, serving both heavy haul and transit sectors. Along with this, they previously held the position of Key Account Manager at Getzner, where they managed key accounts and played a vital role in the company until December 2019.

Throughout their career, Valancogne has demonstrated strong sales skills, autonomy in managing clients and markets, and expertise in various sectors, including sports equipment, luxury products, aeronautics, and railway technology.

Edouard Valancogne began their education by completing a Baccalauréat in Sciences Physiques at LYCEE SAINT-MARC - CSM from 2005 to 2007. After that, they pursued a Higher National Diploma in Negotiation and Customer Relation at Sup' Chassagnes from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they attended Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III), where they obtained a Licence Pro in B to B sales dedicated to industrial customers, which they completed in 2012. Edouard further pursued their education at ESDES Lyon Business School, graduating in 2014 with a Master 2 (M2) in Management and company strategy.
