Christian Brogaard Pedersen

Christian Brogaard Pedersen currently serves as Team Leader for the GIS & Geodata Team at GEUS, a position held since November 2011. In this role, Christian focuses on digital innovation and the presentation of 3D/4D spatial geoscience content, leveraging ArcGIS Enterprise API technology and UX design frameworks. Previously, Christian worked as a Digital Innovation Manager and GIS Developer within the same organization, responsible for managing geodata and web maps, primarily for Denmark and Greenland. Earlier experience includes roles as a Geologist at ENOPSOL, a Student Assistant at A. P. Møller - Maersk Oil A/S, and involvement in geological studies while working with the Alfred Wegener Institute of Polar and Marine Research. Christian's educational background includes a Cand.Scient. degree in Geology and Geoscience from the University of Copenhagen and a Higher Technical Examination (HTX) with a focus on mathematics, chemistry, physics, IT, and communication.
