Karyn Jones

Karyn Jones is an accomplished renewable energy consultant with extensive experience in sustainability and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at Gevo, Inc. since May 2022, Karyn previously held key positions at EcoEngineers, including Senior Regulatory Consultant and Chief Operations Officer (COO). In the COO role, Karyn managed a diverse operations team, ensuring high-quality delivery of services related to EPA and RFS compliance. Karyn successfully developed and implemented the EcoEngineers RIN Quality Assurance Program and trained auditors for numerous renewable fuel producers. Earlier, experience as an Environmental Scientist at Seneca Companies involved auditing UST compliance across the Midwest. Karyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Minnesota and has completed project management training.
