Mattias Greer

Mattias Greer is a Research Associate II at Gevo, Inc., with a focus on conducting bench scale experiments for process scale-up and optimizing fermentation procedures using the GIFT system. Previously, Mattias served as a Research Engineer at MicroBio Engineering Inc., where responsibilities included techno-economic analyses and lab experiments to enhance CO2 uptake in algae cultures. Prior experience includes a Research Associate role at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, conducting experiments with microalgae strains for biofuel production, and an Undergraduate Researcher position at the University of Colorado Boulder, investigating E. coli growth conditions. Additionally, Mattias worked as a Teaching Assistant in Biology for Engineers while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
