Simon Lehnert has extensive experience in controlling and financial analysis. Simon started their career as a Treasury Analyst at BASF in 2008, where they were responsible for managing financial transactions. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Controlling Analyst at BASF, focusing on financial planning and analysis.

Lehnert then joined the Schuler Group in 2013, first as a Konzerncontroller and later as the Leiter Group Reporting und Beteiligungscontrolling, where they oversaw financial reporting and controlling for the group.

In 2017, Lehnert moved to FFG Europe & Americas as the Head of Controlling, leading financial controlling activities for the organization until 2019.

Currently, Lehnert serves as the Head of Controlling at GEZE GmbH, where they manage financial controlling processes and strategies.

Simon Lehnert earned a Vordiplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2003. In the same year, they also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business Administration from Østfold University College (HiØ). Later, from 2006 to 2008, they attended WFI - Ingolstadt School of Management and obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
