Matthew Cheung

Matthew Cheung is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity capital markets across leading financial institutions. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Greater China ECM at GF Holdings (Hong Kong) since March 2023, Matthew has held prominent roles including Head of Greater China Equity Capital Markets at Nomura and Executive Director positions at BOCI and J.P. Morgan. Additional experience includes significant contributions to Nomura, Macquarie Capital, and UBS Investment Bank, as well as a foundational role at Deloitte. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Administrative Studies in Accounting from York University between 1994 and 1999.
