Olivier also worked as a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at Applied Materials, where they implemented key quality processes and managed supplier improvement strategies. Other notable roles include Supplier Quality Manager at Pall Life Sciences and WW Supplier Quality & Supply Base Engineering Manager at Maxwell Technologies. Olivier Barbieri started their career as a Material Scientist at the Paul Scherrer Institut and an Engineer at CERN.
Olivier Barbieri holds a Master's degree in Global Supply Chain Management from EPFL (\u00c9cole polytechnique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne), which was completed in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Universit\u00e9 de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar from 1997 to 2001. Olivier also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Materials and Surfaces Sciences from Universit\u00e9 Claude Bernard Lyon 1, completed from 1992 to 1997. In addition, Olivier has obtained certifications in ITIL Foundation Level and ITIL specialist Drive Stakeholder Value from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
