Mark Mitchell is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in hotel management. Currently serving as Area General Manager at GF Hotels & Resorts since December 2023, Mark previously held the role of General Manager at the Double Tree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody and at Atrium Hospitality from August 2022 to December 2023. Prior experience includes General Manager positions at The Scarlet Hotel Tribute Portfolio with Evolution Hospitality, as well as various roles at Interstate Hotels & Resorts from 1996 to March 2021, including Area General Manager for Wyndham and Marriott properties, and General Manager of award-winning hotels such as the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport and Crowne Plaza Charleston. Mark's career began with roles in operations and management at Hyatt Hotels, Quartz Mountain Resort, and several Marriott locations. Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
