Theuns Victor currently serves as the Global Chief Manufacturing Officer at GFG Alliance since 2020 and has held the position of Executive Director at the Chairman’s Industrial Planning Office (CIPO) in 2024. Prior to this, Theuns Victor was the CEO of Europe Primary Steel at LIBERTY Steel Group and the CEO of Liberty Primary Metals Australia at Liberty - Australia. Theuns Victor also served as Executive Managing Director of Whyalla Steelworks at both Liberty - Australia and Arrium, in addition to earlier roles in steelmaking management at Iscor Ltd and ArcelorMittal. Theuns Victor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, completed in 1987.
