Sindy Rodas has over 14 years of work experience in various roles. Sindy began their career in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative at TELUS International Central America. Sindy then worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Avianca from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Datum, S.A. as part of a Scholarship Program, and then as a Technical Consultant, where they were responsible for user maintenance, security and auditing of operations in the database, task automation with SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System management, and implementation of Backup and Recovery strategies using scripts to schedule RMAN backups regularly. In 2021, they moved to Trilogy as a L2 Customer Support Engineer, and in 2022 they joined GFI Software as a Presales Engineer.

Sindy Rodas obtained a Maestría in Administración de Empresas from Universidad Rafael Landívar between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Ingeniería in Ciencias y Sistemas from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala between 2007 and 2014. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Microsoft and Oracle, including MCSA: Cloud Platform - Certified 2018, Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions, Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional, Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist, and Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate.
