Michael Froman

Michael Froman is an experienced leader in process improvement and quality assurance with a diverse background in the chemical and coatings industries. Currently serving as General Manager of the Organic Chemicals Division at GFS Chemicals since January 2016, Froman previously held leadership roles including CEO at Business Design Solutions LLC, Site Manager at AkzoNobel Coatings, and Director of Process Improvement and Quality Assurance at Houghton International. Froman has a strong foundation in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, having managed extensive training programs and improvement initiatives at Ashland Inc. and Koppers Inc. Educated with an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, Froman is recognized for driving significant operational improvements and meeting stakeholder expectations across various sectors.
