Lei Zhao is a seasoned cloud and software engineer with extensive experience in leading technology teams and projects. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Engineer at GFT Technologies since July 2021, Lei has successfully led a DevOps team to establish a global Landing Zone Platform for a tier one investment bank, delivering over 400 landing zones across multiple regions. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Acacium Group, where Lei oversaw a team of Java developers and implemented significant system architecture changes. Additionally, Lei contributed to a multi-million EU Horizon 2020 project as a Tech Coordinator while at the Institute of Digital Healthcare, University of Warwick. Lei's foundational experience as a Software Engineer was gained at the University of Birmingham Clinical Trials Unit. Lei holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
