Francis Cann

Francis Cann is a seasoned leader in the power market sector, currently serving as VP, Power Market Sector Leader at GFT since July 2025. With extensive experience in business development and program management, Francis previously held the position of VP, Sr Director T & D National Business Line at WSP USA from December 2015 to August 2025, where responsibility included managing the power division's business development efforts. Prior roles include VP Power & Industrial NY Metro at AECOM, overseeing a multi-billion P&L, and Program Director at SNC-Lavalin, managing a $450 million program. Francis began a career as a Sr Project Manager with independent consulting work for Exelon. Academic credentials include a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University and coursework toward an MBA at Florida Institute of Technology.
