Pieter Franken

Pieter Franken is a seasoned professional in the FinTech and technology sectors, currently serving as Co-Founder of the Japan Fintech Festival since March 2023, which focuses on facilitating discussions and collaboration across the global FinTech community. Additionally, Pieter holds the position of Senior Advisor at Sembcorp Industries Ltd and is a Co-Founder and Representative Director at ELEVANDI Japan, working to develop the FinTech ecosystem in Japan. Other roles include Adjunct Fellow at Griffith Asia Institute and Co-Founder and Managing Director at SIMBAS, which aims to enhance financial inclusion. Pieter also plays a vital role at Safecast as Representative Director, focusing on environmental measurement, and is a board member of Elevandi.
