Ellina van der Boon

Ellina Van der Boon possesses extensive experience in social coordination and volunteer management. Currently serving as Toezichthouder Wmo en jeugdwet at GGD Amsterdam since March 2023, Ellina has previously held several significant roles at De Regenboog Groep from January 2013 to February 2023, including Coördinator Op Eigen Kracht Trainingen bij Werk en Activering and Coordinator Groepsactiviteiten. Prior to that, Ellina coordinated social contact initiatives at Amsterdamse Vriendendiensten between June 2006 and January 2013, focusing on activities for individuals facing social isolation due to psychosocial issues. Earlier experience includes a role as Vrijwilligerscoördinator at Tools for Solidarity Northern Ireland, where Ellina managed volunteer engagements and supported students, and as Vrijwilligerscoördinator at stichting via, overseeing various volunteer projects related to Africa and the Middle East. Ellina holds a master's degree in Anthropology and a minor in French language and literature from the University of Amsterdam.
