Patricia Ots

Patricia Ots is an experienced strategic advisor currently working at GGD Drenthe since September 2023. Previously, Patricia served as a PhD candidate in Health Sciences at UMCG from June 2018 to July 2023, focusing on the relationship between health, lifestyle, and workplace factors in labor market outcomes using data from the Lifelines Cohort, RIVM, and CBS. Patricia also held roles as a project coordinator for applied health research and as a junior researcher and research assistant at the University of Groningen, where engagement in participatory action research and mentoring students in research methodologies occurred. In addition to academic positions, Patricia gained retail and volunteer experience at various organizations, completing a Research Master in Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Groningen.
