Karien Dijk

Karien Dijk is a seasoned professional in the fields of public safety and youth health care, currently serving as a Beleidsmedewerker at Veiligheidsregio Friesland since 2012. Dijk has also held the position of projectmanager and beleidsmedewerker at Veiligheidsregio Fryslan GGD since 2000, focusing on youth health services and overseeing projects aimed at improving indoor environments in primary schools. Notable roles include coordination of prenatal education and parenting information sessions, as well as participation in the consortium for pregnancy and birth in Friesland and Northern Netherlands. Additionally, Dijk contributed to the ABVAKABO FNV from 2006 to 2011 as a board member. Dijk obtained a degree from NHL Hogeschool between 1995 and 1999.
