Femke Blokhuijsen

Femke Blokhuijsen has extensive experience in the field of behavioral science and child psychology, currently serving as a Behavioral Scientist at GGD Hollands Midden since April 2018, where roles include research and work with Veilig Thuis. Prior positions include Child Protector at Veilig Thuis Zuid Holland and Child and Youth Psychologist at GGZ Rivierduinen, among others. Femke has also worked as an Orthopedagogue and Remedial Teacher, providing diagnostic and treatment services for children with learning difficulties. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Orthopedagogy and a Bachelor of Science in Educational Sciences from Leiden University.
