Matthijs Den Hertog

Matthijs Den Hertog is the Group Controller at GGD Investments. Matthijs has over 5 years of experience in the financial industry and has worked with various companies in different industries. Matthijs started their career as an intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later developed into an assistant manager role. In this role, they led various audit teams and was responsible for the planning and execution of financial statement audits. In addition, they audited the more complex financial statement areas, wrote reports for internal and external use and acted as the link between the engagement partner and the client. After 6 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, they moved to Bright Cape B.V. where they worked as a financial specialist for 1 year. Matthijs then joined GGD Investments and has been with the company for over 5 years.

Matthijs Den Hertog has a Bsc in Accountancy & Controlling from the University of Groningen, an Msc in Accountancy from the University of Groningen, and an Executive Master of Accountancy from the University of Groningen. Matthijs is also a registered accountant with the Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants and has a Praktijkopleiding RA from 2010-2015.
