Hannah Vondrak is an experienced landscape architect with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University, obtained in 2015. Currently serving as an Associate and Project Designer at GGN (Gustafson Guthrie Nichol) since July 2016, Vondrak has previously held the position of Landscape Architect in training at Confluence from May 2015 to May 2016. Earlier experience includes a role as a Landscape Architecture Research Assistant at Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, where Vondrak contributed to community assessments and reports for the Iowans Walking Assessment Logistics Kit Program (I-WALK). Vondrak has also gained valuable hands-on experience through internships at Blu Design Group and Elevate Architecture, focusing on high-end residential and commercial projects, developing design solutions, and creating construction documents in AutoCAD.

GGN was the recipient of the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award for Landscape Architecture in 2011. The firm’s project awards include ASLA National Awards of Excellence, ASLA and AIA Honor Awards for Design, Tucker Design Awards, Society for Campus and University Planning Awards, and Great Places Awards from the Environmental Design Research Association.
