Miriam Lommen

Miriam Lommen is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and Experimental Psychopathology at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, University of Groningen, since March 2022. Lommen serves as a psychologist and cognitive behavioral therapist at GGZ Drenthe and has been actively involved with the Vereniging voor Gedragstherapie en Cognitieve therapie (VGCt) as a member of the congress committee since December 2015. Previous positions include Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen and various roles in trauma and cognitive behavioral therapy, including a postdoctoral research position at the University of Oxford, focusing on anxiety disorders and PTSD. Lommen holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health Science from Maastricht University.
