Mirjam Kerkhoven

Mirjam Kerkhoven is currently an Orthopedagoog in opleiding tot GZ-psycholoog at Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep and GGZ Noord-Holland-Noord, with additional training as a Cognitief gedragstherapeut VGCt®. Previously, Mirjam served as a Behandelcoördinator and Gedragswetenschapper at Forensisch centrum Teylingereind, focusing on the care and support of youth in a judicial setting. Mirjam's experience includes roles as a researcher and research assistant at the Academische Werkplaats Forensische Zorg voor Jeugd, a coordinator for ROMCKAP at Curium-LUMC, and psychological roles at Vijlbrief P&O. Educational qualifications include a Cum Laude degree in Forensische Orthopedagogiek from the University of Amsterdam, along with relevant training in cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR.
