Ben Sullivan, PhD, is an associate research scientist at GH Labs, specializing in microfluidics and paper-based diagnostics. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, Ben has contributed to various projects, including the design of a nucleic acid purification device and a probabilistic assay for pre-exposure prophylaxis monitoring. Ben's prior experience includes roles at the University of Washington as a research engineer and graduate research assistant, where significant work on HIV viral load monitoring was conducted. Additionally, Ben has experience in developing laminate microfluidic devices, innovating user experiences at Microsoft, and conducting efficiency research at Efficiency Solutions. Ben holds a PhD, an MS, and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.
