Peter Fitzpatrick has worked in the medical device industry for over 15 years. Peter began their career in 2006 at Allergan as a Process Engineer, where they sustained and improved manufacturing processes to achieve high quality products while reducing costs and ensuring a safe working environment. In 2009, they joined Boston Scientific as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they were a member of a cross-functional team that successfully launched the latest Drug Eluting Stent to market ahead of schedule. Peter also led multi-functional teams on numerous Value Improvement Projects and successfully completed numerous validation activities for new manufacturing processes. In 2011, they moved to Nypro, A Jabil Company, where they held roles as a Program Manager, Senior Product Engineer, and Product Engineer. In 2017, they joined Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Program Manager and Device Engineering Project Manager. Most recently, they are the Director of Device Development at GH Research.
Peter Fitzpatrick obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin in 2006. In 2007, they completed a Project Management course at Cordatus Consulting. Peter then obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt from SQT in 2008. Finally, they earned their Master's Degree in Engineering Management from University College Dublin in 2015.
