Tara McGowan

Tara McGowan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tara is currently working as a Project Manager at GH Research since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Viatris as a Manager, Device Program Lead from February 2020 to June 2022. Tara also held positions at Boston Scientific, where they served as a Senior Project Lead from September 2018 to January 2020 and as an Associate Production Manager from September 2017 to August 2018. Tara took a career break from July 2016 to August 2017 for international travel. Before their break, they were with Boston Scientific again, where they worked as an Operations Team Lead from July 2014 to July 2016. Tara also completed an Accelerated Graduate Programme at Boston Scientific from September 2012 to June 2014, gaining experience in various roles and achieving notable awards. Prior to that, they were involved in the Trinity Alumni Group at Trinity College Dublin from March 2012 to June 2012, where they fundraised for the engineering department. Their early work experience includes a role at Pfizer as an Operations Excellence, Business Planning student engineer from April 2010 to September 2010, where they focused on measuring manufacturing performance and developing reporting tools.

Tara McGowan has a solid educational background. Tara completed their MSc in Project Management from the University College Cork between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc in Bioengineering from Trinity College Dublin from 2011 to 2012. Their undergraduate studies were carried out at the University of Galway, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, Tara McGowan obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2020.
