Chris Costis

Chris’ passion for art and science inspires and motivates him to bring ideas to reality and create a built environment. With over 25 years of engineering experience, he has developed a diverse project portfolio that includes manufacturing, aviation, commercial, educational, and institutional structures.

As the Manager of Structural Engineering, he is responsible for project supervision, quality assurance, and team member development. He manages and supervises the work of team members for various projects both domestically and abroad, applying international building code standards including requirements for higher seismic areas and a working knowledge of finite element applications and vibration criteria.

Chris holds a Master of Science in civil engineering from Wayne State University as well as a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from University of Detroit Mercy. He is a member of the Structural Engineering Certification Board.
