Daniel Amartey

Daniel Amartey was appointed Advisor to the Chief Executive in September 2022.

Prior to his new role, he was Director of Technical Services at Ghana Grid Company Limited for six (6) months (March-August, 2022), before which he was the Director, of Southern Network Services and Manager in charge of Research and Network Innovations at the Ghana Grid Company. Mr. Amartey previously worked as the Area and Systems Protection and Control Engineer in the Transmission Systems Department of the Volta River Authority. He has also worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL).

He holds an MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, and an Executive MBA from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).

He is a Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE).
