Ebenezer Essienyi

Ebenezer Essienyi was appointed Chief Executive of Ghana Grid Company Limited in August 2021 with a mandate to provide leadership, strategic direction, and progressive growth for the power transmission company in Ghana and the sub-region.

He has over 24 years of experience in the public sector in diverse areas such as Engineering, Planning, Design, and Project Management.

He joined the Ghana Grid Company in 2008 from the Volta River Authority (VRA). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE) and a product of Mfantsipim School.
